| The Blessed Sacrament Beads are from the Blessed Sacrament Fathers and consist of a medal of the Blessed Sacrament and 33 beads. This is in order to recall the 33 years of Christ’s life on earth. 1) On the medal one makes an act of spiritual communion: As I cannot now receive Thee my Jesus, in Holy Communion, come spiritually into my heart, and make it Thine own forever. 2) On each bead say: Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, have mercy on us! (This saying is also on the reverse of the medal to make it easier to remember.) (Approved May 20, 1911 by Pope Pius X) |
 The medal of this chaplet is #734 and are offered for sale in the 'Saint Medals-Special' section. Traditionally the Blessed Sacrament chaplet is done in Job's Tears beads as seen here. That is not obligitory as they are a seed and can be hard to obtain. |
