Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says: "Children, realize that when My Son* was born in the manger, there was peace all around Him in that little stable. It was when man came into the picture that erroneous opinions threatened Him. So, it is, these days, opinions are just that - opinions belonging to certain individuals. It is the misinterpretation of mankind against Truthful opinions that causes havoc to reign. When untruths slip in and take over hearts, sin is given an open door to the heart of mankind. This is how false religions, wars and devotion to such gods as the economy take over hearts.

"Be certain as to the Truth of Holy Love** and devote your lives to that opinion which is Truth itself. Make this opinion the belief you devote your lives to."

Blessed Virgin Mary says: "Praise be to Jesus."

"Children, decades ago, I came to this Messenger* asking to be recognized as the Protectress of the Faith. It fell on deaf ears and deemed to be unnecessary.** Today, the bad fruits of this decision reverberate throughout the Church. Every soul needs the most precious gift of faith to be protected and guarded in a world comprised of sinful choices. Finally, My title 'Guardian of the Faith' was approved in another country*** and has saved many souls. How many more could have been saved if My title had been proclaimed when I asked for it?"

"By this poor example of discernment of the Truth, you can see how important every decision passed down by the hierarchy is. It is up to each soul to find the Truth amidst controversy."

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.

** Note: After checking with a theologian from the Cleveland diocese, the bishop rejected Our Lady's request for the title 'Protectress of the Faith' stating that there already were too many devotions to Blessed Mother and the saints. Our Lady requested this title from the Cleveland bishop in 1987.

*** On August 28, 1988, Our Lady came as "Guardian of the Faith" to Visionary, Patricia Talbot, of Cuenca, Ecuador, in South America. In 1991, the Bishops of Ibarra and Guayaquil in Ecuador approved the movement which contains the name "Guardian of the Faith" and thus implicitly the title.
